Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* High school diploma or GED.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience with stockroom or crib procedures.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience managing Government property, including acquisition, receiving, identification, movement, disposition, contract closeout, subcontractor control, records, utilization, and physical inventory.
* Experience using warehouse and material handling equipment.
* Computer competency, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Eligibility to meet U.S. person requirements for export compliance. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Process, verify, route, store, order, deliver, track, and maintain supplies and materials per company and customer requirements.
* Perform shipping, receiving, inspecting, and material handling using appropriate equipment.
* Read and interpret work orders, requisitions, specifications, and shipping and receiving documents.
* Document and maintain material requisitions, picking instructions, and inventory records.
* Apply basic mathematics to count, add, subtract, and inventory parts and supplies.
* Set up and operate hand tools, including hammers, crowbars, wire counters, and related equipment.
* Fabricate special containers for shipment of parts per specifications.
* Operate company vehicles and ground support equipment to deliver and store materials.
* Input, retrieve, and interpret inventory and tracking information using computer systems.
* Operate barcode readers, pan stock counting equipment, packing equipment, and banding equipment.
* Operate overhead cranes, hoists, side loaders, forklifts, tow motors, and related equipment.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with site requirements.
* Consolidate parts and assemble kits, including hazardous material kits and tooling kits.
* Prepare parts for storage according to procedures.
* Stock and issue parts, including sealers and hazardous materials.
* Perform rough and non-angular cutting of materials such as tubing.
* Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies or damage.
* Conduct inventories and report deterioration or damage.
* Review production schedules to ensure material availability.
* Identify and resolve material-related issues to meet quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management. Physical Requirements
* Able to
* Ascend and descend ladders and work in confined spaces.
* Lift loads of approximately 35 pounds and perform team lifts for weights over 50 pounds.
* Work on elevated platforms and in environments with noise exposure.
* Wear required personal protective equipment for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms.
* Pass visual acuity and color perception testing.
* Read, write, and comprehend the English language.
* Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials.
* Perform frequent standing, walking, reaching overhead, balancing, and climbing.
* Perform occasional finger manipulation, bending, stooping, crawling, squatting, and operating foot controls.
