Summary:
Performs a variety of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, such as boards, panels, and cables. Responsibilities include:
Assembling and checking continuity of components following diagrams and drawings.
Performing quality inspections and reworking assemblies as needed.
Using a microscope to inspect and manually align parts, correcting soldering issues like poor joints, voids, misalignments, and shorts.
This role requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with possible overtime.
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in SMT soldering and fine-pitch soldering.
Proficiency in reading assembly drawings and identifying standard SMT components.
Skilled in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD standards.
Ability to work under a microscope and handle detailed tasks for extended periods.
Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and teamwork orientation.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with circuit cards, blueprint reading, and quality standards.
