What are your contributions to the team?
• Set objectives for the team based on the Procurement balanced scorecard
• Prioritize resource allocation and team support in order to maximize overall benefits to the program
• Work closely with cross-functional leadership within the Global/Challenger program and the procurement leadership teams.
• Drive commodity profile reviews for key commodities.
• Drive cost reductions roadmaps
• Complete performance evaluation and personal development plans with team members
• Coach and develop team members
• Create formal networks internally and externally
Supplier and Cost Management
• Complete sourcing activities for the program
• Oversee supplier management throughout the product development phases
• Manage product changes with our suppliers
• Oversee contractual and commercial negotiations with suppliers
• Maintain contracts while mitigating risks for the program,
• Support the implementation of strategies to minimize aircraft Bill of Material (BOM) and Program non-recurring costs
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- You have at least 5 years in employee management
- You must have negotiation experience; capable of establishing logical arguments and finalizing agreements
- You have strong capabilities in operational, commercial and financial management.
- You have proven experience in complex project management
- You are recognized for your leadership and innovation, and have a proven track record in coordinating and managing a team.
- You are comfortable with complex technical topics, and have knowledge of legal terminology and interpretation of contracts.
- You are familiar with aircraft design, configuration, certification and change management principles.
- You are detail oriented, focused, rigorous and committed to meeting deadlines.
- You have a high proficiency and are a good communicator in French and English (written and spoken).
- You have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office environment with knowledge of MS Project.
