Job Title: Interiors Technician - Airframe LicensedJob Description- Interior modification and upgrade of 737MAX aircraft for an airline customer: Remove seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment; inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies, install seats, galleys/lavs, panels, etc. to complete the upgrade program. This program begins in November 2023 and is expected to run through Q3 2025. 240 aircraft are scheduled to be modified, with 8 days per modification.
Responsibilities- Remove seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment.
- Inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies.
- Install seats, galleys, lavatories, panels, and other interior components.
- Run new wiring from the flight deck to E bay and through ceilings and sidewalls.
- Replace interior components such as sidewalls, bins, ceiling panels, raceways, part of the galley, carpet, and cockpit seats.
- Collaborate with Avionics technicians for wiring and testing/terminating.
Essential Skills- 2+ years of aviation experience.
- Airframe or A&P license.
- Experience with tools, installation, repair, upholstery, cabinets, and interior components.
- 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 4+ years of aircraft interiors install experience preferred.
- Must have a minimum tool list attached.
- Must be open to any shift and weekends.
- Experience with 737MAX or other next-gen commercial aircraft preferred.
Work Environment- Large MRO hangar setting. Work on the second shift from Thursday to Sunday, 1530 - 0200. The first week will consist of ATS and customer-specific training on day shift, between 24 and 40 hours.
