What are your contributions to the team?
  • We are looking for a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to fabricate fixtures, gages, and tooling using aerospace specifications.
  • You will utilize blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to fabricate or repair tooling, gauges, and machinery on the assembly floor.
  • Supporting the production team in a timely manner and assuring the safe operation and care of tool room equipment are key responsibilities.
  • You will ensure quality standards are being met per customer requirements, assess complex tooling and equipment needs, and refurbish as required.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving tooling problems independently is essential.
  • Additionally, you will set up and operate all tool room equipment independently, strive to continuously improve tooling, and reduce manufacturing errors or scraps.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation is expected.
  • You must be willing to share your knowledge of the trade, train apprentices, and instruct other machinists on larger jobs. 
How to thrive in this role?
  • Must have Industrial Millwright 430A Red Seal Certificate and apprenticeship
  • Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker
  • Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekend night shift.
