Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Systems Security Engineer (SSE) to provide leadership and management support the Air Forces acquisition of the next-generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system. As the Systems Security Engineering lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the Sentinel weapon system. You will assess and review requirements decomposition developed by the Prime contractor to ensure compliance with US Government (USG) Weapon System Specification (WSS) for the Sentinel weapon system. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders to document requirements discrepancies and overall requirement quality management, providing technical expertise in Program Protection related efforts, and contributing to executing day-to-day team responsibilities. Additionally, you will evaluate technology tools and systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and applicable protection of information.
In this role, you will also provide leadership, leading the way and providing critical feedback for the weapon systems requirements while guidance a team of highly skilled employees. As a leader, you will be responsible for shaping the development and deployment of the next-generation ICBM, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the Sentinel program.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have US Citizenship status, knowledge and experience working with DoD and/or Air Force policies and processes, and skills and expertise in multiple areas, including security requirements, security architecture views, threat assessment, networking, security technologies, hardware and software security, security test and evaluation, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and supply chain security risk assessment. Leadership experience is also required, with the ability to influence, inspire, and guide a team of highly skilled employees.
