Youll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions using HTML, Javascript, Python, and Bash
- Write clean and secure code to meet project requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications
- Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Proficiency in the Python Software Language and best practices
- Proficient with React, JavaScript / TypesScript
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of the Agile/Scrum software development methodology
- Experience working with Apache Spark
- Knowledge of Github Actions for continuous integration and deployment
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization
- Understanding of REST APIs and experience with the GraphQL
- Proficient with data structures
- Experience with AI infrastructure
