Are you experienced in quality or product assurance within high-reliability engineering environments? A leading engineering and technology organisation is seeking a Product Assurance / Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Dublin-based team, supporting the development of advanced electronic systems used in highly demanding applications.
Working as part of a specialist quality function, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet stringent customer, regulatory, and industry standards across the full lifecycle – from design through to delivery. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
• Defining and implementing PA/QA plans in line with customer and industry standards (e.g. ECSS, ISO).
• Supporting design reviews, ensuring quality, reliability, and safety requirements are met.
• Leading and contributing to product assurance reviews at key project milestones.
• Overseeing manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure compliance with approved procedures and workmanship standards.
• Managing non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
• Reviewing and approving technical documentation such as procedures, inspection plans, and test reports.
• Supporting supplier quality assurance activities, including audits and performance monitoring.
• Participating in internal and external audits.
• Performing hardware inspections and producing quality reports.
• Ensuring configuration control and full traceability of materials and components.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers and external stakeholders on product assurance matters.
• Driving continuous improvement across quality and assurance processes.
What you’ll bring
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a Product Assurance, Quality, or Reliability role within a high-reliability engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g. ECSS, ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, and testing processes.
• Experience managing non-conformances and applying problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable experience
• Background in space, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience working with space-grade or mission-critical electronic systems.
