What are your contributions to the team?
- Research, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies,
- Validate these concepts in the Innovation laboratory with actual mockups,
- Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Design Practices and requirements,
- Complete dataset preliminary review (SVCD, PCD, Detail/Assy/Instl, ICD, CCD)
- Participate in Change Management Process (PCR/RFC/RFQ/C&O) and incorporate changes into deliverables.
- Validate aircraft configuration (WA/STV/CCS/CCS/RAL) in order to ensure the customer specifications are respected.
- Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Design Practices and engineering requirements.
- Define technical specifications as well as mechanical/electrical & systems interfaces.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
- You cumulate at least 5 years of pertinent experience
- You have experience in working with Enovia / Enovia PLM and Catia V5 (must)
- You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.
- You are well organized and are project oriented
- You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure
- You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
