Description:This position is a 2-year rotational Expat opportunity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of our THAAD FMS contract obligation. The expectation is for this candidate to start in Grand Prairie, TX and to transition into a minimum two (2) year Expat assignment in KSA after the potential TDY in Camden and Lufkin.
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Staff for the THAAD Production Operations Team. Our team is responsible for production operations in support of the execution phases of various IAMD THAAD projects
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for engaging in the new unique and exciting KSA Localization program focusing on electro-mechanical components. Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating and managing the interests of Production Operations and specific requirements generated from Statements of Work (SOWs) for each KSA supplier.
• Oversight of all KSA in-country infrastructure modifications, manufacturing tooling, test equipment, production processes, skills training and the manufacturing data package.
• Production Operations activities in KSA including infrastructure guidance and modifications, materials receiving and inventory set-up, tooling implementation, manufacturing data package transfer and skills training support.
• Motivating, supporting and facilitating self-directed work teams and interact with internal and external customers to support time-sensitive results in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Establishing and maintaining a steady business rhythm according to the requirements of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and report up to management the weekly status and progress.
• Communication and collaboration with multiple functional groups within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control and multiple LMMFC facilities personnel and domestic suppliers is paramount.
This position typically requires 9 years of professional experience.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting
• Bachelors or higher degree in an engineering discipline
•Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customer
• Prior experience in an operations, manufacturing, or production environment
• Some International travel may be required

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
