Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA) Engineering & Sciences is seeking a Program Manager to be the Staffing and Development Coordinator. This individual will lead staffing and operations activities in support of multiple programs in the Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA) and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MST) OUs. This position will report to the Strategy & Operations Manager.
Key roles and responsibilities include the following:
- Collaborate with OU staff, program management, and technical leads to understand and document staffing needs.
- Support E&S Functional Management in fulfillment of Program staffing needs.
- Develop staffing and UR&R strategy with OU Staffing Lead in alignment with program growth.
- Work with Talent Acquisition and functional management on staffing progress and needs.
- Track progress, compile statistics, define useful metrics, and report weekly to OU and functional management. Brief executive management on plan and progress as required.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding including New Employee Orientation and seating arrangements
- This position may also include functional management responsibilities for MDA operations staff. That role includes administrative management, performance evaluation, career development, and salary planning.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of related engineering experience including responsibility in project management; Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 6 years of related engineering experience including responsibility in project management; PhD with a minimum of 4 years of related engineering experience including responsibility in project management.
- Proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail; highly organized; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Workload Forecast (WLF) to manage functional staffing needs in support of Program
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance per business requirements. US Citizenship is a prerequisite of this.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Engineering Leadership, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment
- Demonstrated success leading high performance teams as technical, integrated product team, and/or functional leader
- Current, active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Salary Range: $145,000 - $217,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
