The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Interiors Electrical Engineering Manager to join the VC-25B program working on the interior of this iconic jet in San Antonio, TX.
This role will lead the team that integrates heavily with the supplier on the electrical portion of the interior and works across teams to ensure a successful engineering solution to a complex statement of work. This role also has direct reports that will provide shipside support to the program through the installation of the interior. Collaboration and strong communication with customer, other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), operations, and suppliers will be paramount to the success of this role.
This role requires experience leading integrated engineering teams to develop complex solutions. Strong foundational understanding of the engineering processes including change management and supplier oversight is required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 1+ years of experience providing technical leadership for an engineering team.
- 3+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Background in Electrical Engineering.
- Background in Interiors/Payload Engineering.
- Earned Value Management experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
