About the Role
PrimePath Engineering is supporting the delivery of a Firefighting Container capability as part of the
wider Logistics Vehicle Modernisation (LVM) programme for the Canadian Department of National
Defence (DND).
This role offers a graduate engineer the opportunity to contribute to a live defence programme,
supporting engineering documentation, requirements management, and programme delivery
activities. The successful candidate will gain exposure across the full engineering lifecycle, from
design reviews through to verification, trials, manufacturing and delivery.
The role is suited to candidates interested in systems engineering, programme delivery, and working
within structured engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Documentation Support
Contribute to development of engineering artefacts (reports, CDR packs, technical
documentation)
Maintain structured, high-quality documentation aligned to programme requirements
Requirements & Verification
Support and maintain requirements tracking and traceability
Support generation and organisation of verification and compliance evidence
Quality & Review
Support review of engineering outputs and documentation
Assist with ensuring consistency and compliance across deliverables
Programme Support
Support action tracking, coordination, and preparation for design reviews
Engage with stakeholders across engineering and programme teams

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Systems, or General Engineering)
• Strong written and communication skills
• Organised and structured approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Desirable
• Interest in defence or complex engineering programmes
• Awareness of systems engineering principles
• Experience with documentation, data handling, or analysis
The placement is initially for 12 months, with the potential for transition into client at the end of
this period.
