Purpose of Position
The Manager, Test Engineering leads and manages the Field Service teams that perform the installation of visual and display systems – new, modifications and upgrades – for full flight simulators in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Establish a quality-focused environment to reduce rework and achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Liaise between customer and program managers/project liaisons to ensure effective completion of projects.
- Achieve schedule requirements and be able to adjust and compensate for schedule changes.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement strategies to guide production operations.
- Achieve optimum teammate levels to achieve forecasts and budget.
- Develop and implement cross training and utilization program to achieve maximum productivity.
- Effectively lead, manage and support remote (on-site) field service teams.
