What You Will Do:
The F135 Engine Design and System Integration (EDSI) Production and Field Support Team is seeking someone curious and detail-oriented for a Life Tracking Integrity Engineer position.
In this role the candidate will have responsibility for ensuring that proposals made through the engineering change process are supportable in sustainment data products. They will leverage the lessons learned by F135 data investigation team to build system models to facilitate engineering decision making for part tracking and life management.
The candidate will query enterprise data systems to ensure that expected task execution is appropriately reflected in sustainment data products. The candidate will be responsible for identifying misalignment, driving process change, and automating detection to ensure engineering intent is maintained across the F135 sustainment enterprise.
This role requires integration with internal component groups (CIPT), Model Based Systems Engineering, and PW Sustainment organizations.
Understand F135 configuration management and Data Investigation team lessons learned
Participate in Incorporation Reviews to ensure proposed ECs are executable in Sustainment data systems
Work with MBSE to create models to mistake proof engineering decision making based on data integrity lessons learned
Support CIPTs decision making process for impacts to sustainment during design phase.
Understand MVR affected populations and if attrition is occurring commensurate with Forecast
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or a Masters degree in engineering and minimum 3+ years’ experience.
Ability to obtain security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
5-10 travel.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
3+ years Experience in F135 fleet sustainment or F135 data systems

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
