STS Aviation Services continues to expand its base maintenance operations, and we are looking for experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join our growing team at Manchester Airport (MAN). This is a permanent, full time opportunity to work within one of the most advanced aircraft maintenance facilities in the United Kingdom.

Position Overview
The B1 Licensed Engineer will perform and certify aircraft maintenance activities within the scope of company approvals while supporting base maintenance operations at our Manchester facility. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and maintenance quality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Certify maintenance within the scope of company approvals and regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff
- Lead by example to maintain high standards of aircraft maintenance execution
- Ensure aircraft maintenance activities are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction
- Support strong technical dispatch reliability and on time aircraft performance
Required Aircraft Type Ratings
We are recruiting engineers with current UK CAA type ratings on the following aircraft:
- Boeing 737 NG
- Boeing 737 MAX
- Airbus A319
- Airbus A320
- Airbus A321
Skills & Experience
- UK CAA Part 66 B1 License required
- Current CAA type certification on Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 737 MAX, or Airbus A320 family aircraft
- Previous base maintenance experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic aviation maintenance environment
- Flexibility to meet changing operational and maintenance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Work Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of the United Kingdom or currently hold valid authorization to work in the UK, with at least two years remaining before expiration.
