We are looking to hire Licensed Avionics Technicians to assist with the heavy maintenance of Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft. The primary responsibilities will include performing C Checks and providing support on Line Maintenance in Calgary and Edmonton. Technicians must be flexible and open to working in various areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform C Checks on Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft.
• Assist with Line Maintenance in Calgary and Edmonton.
• Conduct aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify and solve avionics issues.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with a team of 5-6 AMEs.

• Licensed Aircraft Mechanic - E
• Experience with avionics maintenance on Q400, 737NG MAX, or SAAB aircraft.
• Proficiency in heavy and line maintenance tasks.
• Strong installation and troubleshooting skills.
• A&P license.

• Endorsement on Boeing 737 and/or Dash 8 - Q400.
• Experience with Q400 and 737 aircraft.
• RAIC certification.
• Ability to work well with others and demonstrate good teamwork skills.
• Effective communication skills.

This position offers the potential for a long-term contract or conversion to a permanent employee based on performance. It is a great opportunity to learn about different aircraft models if you lack experience with the 737 or Q400, with the possibility of obtaining endorsements. Work Environment

The work environment involves working in a hangar to perform heavy maintenance checks alongside a team of 5-6 AMEs. Shifts are 12 hours long, from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with the flexibility to work up to 6 days a week. Facility for line maintenance runs 24-hour shifts, requiring flexibility for line maintenance duties.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
