The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Azure System Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; or Seattle, WA.
Boeing Information Technology (IT) is seeking a specialist with expertise in Azure and cloud environments. The selected candidate will support Linux and Windows administration and work with automation tools, focusing on compliance and remediation, particularly addressing Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVEs) and collaborating closely with application teams to implement fixes.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
Administer Linux and Windows operating systems in hybrid and cloud environments
Utilize automation tools such as Ansible to streamline system configuration and deployment
Lead compliance and remediation initiatives focused on CVEs, primarily at the Operating System (OS) layer
Collaborate with application teams to coordinate and implement remediation efforts
Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, compliance status, and remediation activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of systems engineering experience
5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure etc.
5+ years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements
5+ years of experience developing solutions with Ansible or similar tools
Experience with industry standards relating to Vulnerability Management including Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)
Experience developing or working with compliance processes and/or controls
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or higher-level Azure certifications
Certifications in Linux or Windows
Experience with problem-solving skills and communication with cross-functional teams

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $173,650
