Position Overview: This position reports to the Quality Manager. The Quality Technician / Quality Administrator is responsible for supporting, improving, and enforcing the quality system at PCC Carson City. The primary responsibility is to perform specification and regulatory reviews, route revision changes to the appropriate parties for review, and support any necessary internal changes to maintain compliance. This position will support all functions of the Quality Team, including Lab PO submission, results reporting, customer source inspections, NDT technique writing, internal product and process audits, and support for external customer and regulatory audits.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and required programs
- Previous manufacturing experience highly desired
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- QD&T preferred
Responsibilities/Job Duties: Support Quality Systems, including:
- Internal auditing under the direction of the Quality Engineer
- Support customer audit activities, including checklist completion
- Verification of customer and regulatory requirements and specification revisions
- Support the development and completion of improvement projects
- Support the maintenance and improvement of documentation, including operating procedures and internal testing results
- Provide administrative support to other departments throughout the facility, including but not limited to Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Source Inspection, NDT Testing, and the Metallurgical Lab
- Perform customer product audits
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned

- 60 of work can be performed in an office environment, sitting and/or standing at a computer.
- 40 of work will be done on the manufacturing floor, which will require walking, standing, and interacting with manufacturing products.
- During the workday, the incumbent will use hands, wrists, and fingers to operate a computer (e.g., typing, scrolling).
- The employee will frequently lift and carry manufacturing parts weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required.
- Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.

Compensation and Benefits: For informational purposes only, the pay range for this role is $16.00/hr. to $28.00/hr. (USD) based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours of paid time off every year, along with 10 paid holidays.
