Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
- Provides objective evidence of results
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
- Identifies and documents discrepancies
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Shift: 2nd shift: 2:00p-10:30p
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- High School / GED Diploma is required
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard
