Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our Production Support Engineering Team in King of Prussia, PA! The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations related to electronics assembly, circuit card assembly, cable & harness assembly, mechanical assembly, vehicle assembly, and/or electro-mechanical assembly.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor, work with assembly and test technicians to ensure hardware producibility, and respond to manufacturing assistance requests.
• You will write production plans and optimize production flows to meet program deliverables.
• You will aid manufacturing engineering in incorporating engineering design changes to support a closed loop change management lifecycle and implementing process improvements to gain efficiencies.
• You will support production operations in prioritizing work in process to meet program delivery schedules.
• You will analyze shop performance and support Quality Assurance in root cause investigations and corrective action planning for process-related defects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Mechanical assembly, vehicle assembly, electrical assembly, circuit card assembly, cable & harness assembly, and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience writing or interpreting manufacturing work instructions.
• Manufacturing and/or Production Operations experience.
• This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to able obtain a Secret security clearance and be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Practical experience reading engineering drawings and analyzing design documentation.
• Experience with high-mix production operations.
• Demonstrated experience writing manufacturing work instructions.
• Experience developing rework instructions, repair directions, or flow alteration records.
• Experience in SAP is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
