Job overview and responsibilities

This Analyst / Senior Analyst position is responsible for working with suppliers to identify and implement future alternate Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) and Owner Operator Produced Parts (OOPP) usage. This role supports Technical Operations cost saving and reliability initiatives while increasing part suppliers to reduce supply chain shortages.

• Use Supply Chain forecast tools to identify future alternate material usage and financial spends that support future PO Forecast, Repair Orders and Airframe OSVs goals. Develop these identified alternate materials with both internal and external suppliers to determine best opportunities.
• Work with current PMA/OOPP suppliers to verify that FAA-approved alternate materials are incorporated into the Companys technical manuals.
• Manage certain financial aspects of Uniteds Technical Component Purchasing and Repair contracts and warranties.
• Partner with Engineering and Inventory Performance to identify aircraft reliability issues and coordinate with PMA/OOPP suppliers to develop alternate solutions that resolve those issues.
