Finance Manager

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a fully Remote (work from home) Role?  Look No further!  We are a large company focused on the staffing, aviation, and industry in the Chicago, IL area.  Reporting to the Controller, this position provides a variety of analytical support to the senior leadership team. This is a high visibility position with significant opportunity to provide meaningful insights to the senior leadership team.

Job Duties

• Actively support and contribute to the Annual Budgeting process, including developing budgets by working with team members and department heads
• M&A experience, including financial modeling, due diligence, target evaluation, and transaction integration
• Experience building a fully integrated 5-year financial model with the balance sheet, income statements, cash flows, and drivers for pro forma transactions including acquisitions & synergies
• Perform bank covenant calculations and reporting
• Valuation experience (calculate EBITDA multiples, perform comp analyses)
• Prepare analyses, forecasts, and other reports for banks and investors
• Assist the Controller and CFO with the preparation of monthly financial and quarterly Board packages
• Support the Controller and Leadership Team with the preparation and analysis of weekly operating results
• Prepare complex ad-hoc reporting and analysis as assigned
• Support the Accounting team as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Background in M&A or investment banking preferred
• 5 - 7 years of financial or accounting work experience
• Deep understanding of financial statements
• Strong financial modeling skills
• The data-driven mindset with advanced Excel skills and Power BI preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and deduction skills
• Ability to understand operations and sales and the financial results they create
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines
• High level of integrity and professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
